Elm Grove Licensed Country House Gay Lesbian Friendly Hotel, St Florence, Tenby, Pembrokeshire, West Wales
Elm Grove is an elegant Georgian Country House that nestles amidst 20 acres of grounds in the pretty village of St Florence that is just a scenic
3-mile drive from the famouse Victorian seaside town of Tenby. Elm Grove simply oozes an atmosphere of timeless country elegance that flows effortlessly throughout amongst the delicious mix of marble fireplaces, chandeliers, panelled doorways and large picture windows that frame the delightful views. The en-suite bedrooms here at Elm Grove are just to die for with high-corniced ceilings and are beautifully presented with a delicious fusion of modern and period antique furniture. All of the rooms are well equipped with: generous hospitality tray, satellite television, DVD, bathrobes, free wi-fi (available in some rooms), Princess Gate bottled waters, Hairdryer and Duck Island bathroom toiletries. All of the rooms have views of the gardens, lawns or surrounding countryside. The food here at Elm Grove is seriously good, and a great deal of emphasis is placed on providing traditional dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Elm Grove has been owned by the Rees-Baynes family for over 50 years and is run by Jane and Alan who are a wonderfully friendly and hospitable couple whose passion and commitment in providing everything that is good for their guests is simply astonishing. Elm Grove has won awards than you can shake a stick at and most recently they have attained a Gold Award for Best Serviced Accommodation and a Silver Award for the Finest Breakfast in Pembrokeshire. Believe me that these awards are nothing less than Jane and Alan deserve. For the more independent of you Elm Grove has The Mews self-catering cottages that were originally stables for the big house. A sympathetic conversion without detriment to their fine heritage has created stunning self-catering cottages with all the little extras that you so rarely find but always need when on a self-catering holiday. The only downside here at Elm House is that you will never ever want to leave.
