The West Arms is everything an old inn should be. In the summer months the heady scent of wisteria greets you and in the colder seasons the warm spice of crackling logs all add to the wonderful olde worlde atmosphere that just drifts effortlessly amongst the low-beamed ceilings, undulating floors, settles, inglenooks and braced latched doors. However, they both have fabulous local knowledge of all the wonderful places for you to explore in their stunning part of Wales and will also point you in the right direction of some fabulous pubs and eateries if you don't feel like cooking. Caban y Coed is superbly presented and well equipped with everything that you need but so rarely find when on a self-catering holiday. The gardens are beautiful and the wonderful wooden staircase leads to a magical woodland. This place is fabulous and the family who own and run it are an absolute delight. |
