Gay Friendly Self Catering Windmill Holiday Home
Isle or Anglesey White Beach Cove Holidays, Llangoed, Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey ![]() www.windmillselfcatering-anglesey.co.uk Since 1741 this beautiful windmill has stood proudly gazing out across the rural tranquillity of the Isle of Anglesey to the ocean beyond. Now, it’s days of tireless work over, it has been transformed into an unusual yet luxurious holiday home following sympathetic restoration without any detriment to it’s fine architectural heritage and past working life. The accommodation is arranged on four floors where high quality contemporary furnishings and fittings abound punctuated with brass bedsteads and oak floors. The kitchen is spectacular with more gadgets than you can shake a stick at, and the bathroom is simply a temple to modernity. Without doubt, the stairs are somewhat steep and narrow but this is small beer when you consider the location and the quality of everything provided here. The views from this remarkable building are unrivalled on the island; in fact, you can see Beaumaris, the Menai Straits, the Snowdonia Mountain range, the Irish Sea, Puffin Island, the Great Orme and the Isle of Man. It would appear that Julian, the talented and friendly owner, has thought of just about everything and his eye for detail and finishing is simply astonishing. It is fabulous, unusual, sexy, romantic, and its location is simply to die for. |
