website that was founded in 1995.
Did you know that even
in these enlightened times three out of four gay and
lesbian holiday makers are worried about the welcome
that they will receive at their holiday accommodation,
not only from the proprietor but also their staff.
That is why Gay Accommodation Wales was founded.
We are a gay run not for profit organisation
owned and managed by
Richard, Justin and Sarah. Our ethos is to promote only
the finest gay lesbian owned or gay friendly holiday
accommodations in Wales.
Our website currently attracts
45,000 hits each month from our target audience of gay
and lesbian travellers together with their friends and
families who are looking for the finest gay, lesbian
friendly holiday accommodations including bars,
restaurants and licensed gay lesbian civil ceremony
partnership wedding venues where they may relax and
enjoy their holiday without fear of prejudice or

The term gay friendly has become overused and abused by
many accommodation providers recently purely for
marketing and financial purposes by adding the term gay
friendly somewhere amongst dog friendly and child
friendly and, as you can imagine, our target audience
pay little heed to these places. As a not for profit
organisation, we only publish the finest and genuinely
gay lesbian friendly holiday accommodations. We list all
types of holiday destinations from cutesy bed and
breakfasts to grand 5 star country houses, and whilst we
do not have any particular listing criteria, we do
insist that your accommodations are special and that you
and your staff are genuinely gay friendly. Just take a
